Oxygen Sensor Wrangler 4.2 Liter 1987-1990
This is the Oxygen Sensor that goes into the exhaust manifold of the 4.2 liter engine. This Oxygen Sensor will fit all Jeep Wranglers from 1987-1990 with the 4.2 Liter engine. If your oxygen sensor is causing your engine light to come on for any reason-most likely your Jeep will fail emissions testings for either the engine running too rich which will waste expensive gas or running too lean which will make your engine run very rough to the point where it will almost die out and will cause you mileage to be very poor.
If your oxygen sensor is bad--these are very good reasons to replace them right away. This sensor should be replaced every 90,000 miles.
If you have not changed your sensor and you have exceeded this mileage--you may want to replace this sensor before it goes bad as it may not be working as well as it should.
This is easy to get to on the engine for installation.
